Final reflection

My favorite project by far was the monster. It was so cool and awesome. I loved the artist and his work was very inspiring to me. I loved that we could make the monster and there was no guide to how we had to make the monster. it could be all shapes and sizes and different colors. It was overall the most fun I had making a project and most creative I was on a project all year.

At time this year I struggled. An example was when we made our exposed coil cups. I found it very challenging at first because I struggled to make a coil and that was the most important part to making an exposed coil cup. But I was able to overcome this challenge and struggle by practicing everyday making coils.
When I first walked into ceramics I had no clue what anything was. All I knew was that there was clay and that we were going to make projects. Now I've done 6 projects and have done a whole semester of ceramics. My skills have really grown over this time. My first project was like beginners work and now my most recent project, the monster, is a master piece to me. I really improved my coil skills and the techniques of scratching attaching to make my most recent master piece. I had a great experience this semester taking ceramics and I feel that this experience is a very nice one to have.
